"Let's make it great again"... Moawad: Lebanon is sticking to its borders

Lebanese Ambassador to the United States, Nada Hamada Moawad, welcomed the extension of the cessation of hostilities under the auspices of the United States for an additional three weeks, starting on Sunday, considering that this step reflects a shared commitment to reducing escalation and creating the necessary conditions for meaningful negotiations.
Moawad thanked President Donald Trump for his commitment to supporting Lebanon and assisting in efforts to enhance security and stability.
Moawad called for full respect for the declaration of cessation of hostilities, stressing that the protection of civilians, including members of the press and humanitarian relief workers, as well as infrastructure and religious sites, remains a top priority.
Moawad reaffirmed Lebanon's adherence to its internationally recognized borders and that the Lebanese state continues to take concrete measures to maintain security and enhance stability.
